Thursday

Sun has been crazy over the weekend! I burnt to a crisp on Sunday and even though I tried to drink water, i couldnt help myself to some Pimms - which resulted in me being ill on Monday. Too much sun, little water and burning the candle at both ends. Rubbish!
This weekend i am heading to Bournemouth to see Stanton Warriors before indulging in some retail and drinking therapy in East Dulwich with a few friends. Today is the AW10 Next prewview in Bond Street, so i will be heading down around 2pm opposite Selfridges if anyone wants to join me. Silly me i forgot my camera- work has been so hectic recently with new lanches and branding. But hopefully i will be saving some money soon and get myself a well deserved MAC so i can update you all more, and often!

At the moment i am in awe of David Gandy - how amazing is this man?

Friday

H&M

Thanks to Tom from Next, who has invited me down to the preview of the new AW/10 Collection on Wednesday. A selection of bloggers get to go and have some tea and cake afterwards.

Busy busy busy, trying to corordinate work with social life is ahrd at the moment. I am looking to go to Whisky Misk next week where Will.i.am will be doing a performance.

H&M launches there new collection and i have already got my eye on a few key pieces. Prices are not bad and i think today will be the day i purchase some lovely garms for the summer.

I will update soon!

Monday

Chris Ofili

I went to see the Chris Ofili exhibiton last Sunday, which was amazing. I thought a bit of culture on a Sunday afternoon would be great, and his work is really funny but impressive. He makes all of his paintings through dots, and incorporates graphic images of hip hop stars plus African embelishment.
This weekend was hectic, i went to Portsmouth and saw the uni girls and boys again! Excited about this week as a friend will be back in town, fingers crossed.
For now, still no laptop. But here is Chris's work.

Zara Look Book 2010

Loving the warm colours and harem pants in the khaki green.

Work is stil manic but there are loads of things happening this weekend i want to get my teeth stuck into. loads of art shows in Hoxton and Dalston, but also on Southbank with a may day dance happening on Sunday - even though it is a while since May the1st...

This month's vogue really inspired me. I was reading an article about a journalist who moved from Brixton to Bali with her husband and two children. It really inspired me as i looked out my window onto concrete and a bus stop full of crazy loons. But then with the sun shining in the City today in London i was happy. i wandered down Oxford Cicus and found some great little shops that were hidden gems. There was also a press day down Market Place, which i remembered getting an invite for but completely didnt remember! I could of gone, but never mind many more.

I am off to a MixMag party on Friday, as i write for them. Should be fun and free booze for a little while as well. Lovely!

Thanks to GLASS magazine who gave me some TATE tickets to an exhibiton. I will head down this weekend.
